§ 93.004 AGRICULTURAL EXEMPTION.
The provisions of this zoning code shall not be exercised or administered so as to impose regulations with respect to the erection, maintenance, repair, alterations, remodeling or extensions of buildings or structures, used or intended to be used for agricultural purposes upon such land, except that buildings or structures for agricultural purposes shall be required to conform to primary structure setback requirements. Permits issued for the erection or extension of buildings, structures or other purposes described in this section shall be issued free of charge. In the event that part of a tract of land ceases to be used primarily for agricultural purposes, then all the provisions of this zoning code shall apply to that part. Agricultural exemption shall only be applied to structures strictly used for agricultural purposes located on lots zoned "A" Agricultural District, where the agricultural equipment or materials stored within the structure are intended for use on the property on which the structure is located. Agricultural exemption, for purposes of a permit issued free of charge, shall only be granted to applicants whose principal use of the land is agricultural.
