Any member of the Sheriff’s Department who shall be guilty of any of the following shall be subject to disciplinary action by the Sheriff and the Merit Commission:
(A) Violate any law or statute of the United States or this state;
(B) Violate any ordinance of the county or municipal government;
(C) Violate any of the general orders, special orders, rules, regulations or policies of the Sheriff’s Department which are not inconsistent with state law or the rules, regulations and procedures of the Merit Commission; or
(D) Engage in any activity which is violative of the office or position held by the certified person.
