The licenses issued under this subchapter shall be for a period of a calendar year from January 1 to December 31 (both days included). The Investigation and License Committee of the County Board of Supervisors is authorized and empowered to direct the issuance of such licenses for less than one year, the fee for six months or less shall be one-half the fee the establishment would have to pay for one full year.
