The Sheriff’s Department shall take every reasonable precaution to assure that alarm notifications received are given appropriate attention and are acted upon with dispatch. Nevertheless, neither the county nor the County Sheriff’s Department shall be liable for any failure or neglect to respond to an alarm sounding generated from an alarm system that is under a disconnect order or registration revocation as imposed by the Sheriff.
