§ 9-6.04 EAST AND WEST DIVISION OF CITY; ODD AND EVEN NUMBERS.
   (A)   East and west division. The city shall be divided on the east and the west by the main line and tracks of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, and the blocks shall be numbered in the following manner: the first block of all streets lying east of the railroad, at right angles therewith and running easterly and westerly and parallel with Yosemite Avenue, and including Yosemite Avenue, shall be designated as number 100 East, for example, Yosemite Avenue east of the railroad tracks and between the tracks and E Street shall be designated as number 100; between E Street and D Street, 200, and adding 100 to each block on to the city limits on the east.
   (B)   Odd and even numbers. The odd numbers shall be on the left (facing east) beginning with number 1 added to the block or tier number, and the even numbers shall be on the right added to the block or tier number, for example, Yosemite Avenue west of the railroad tracks, and all streets running parallel therewith, shall begin with the block number 100. The block lying between the railroad tracks and F Street shall be designated as number 100, West, and the block lying between F Street and G Street shall be designated as number 200 and on West to the end of the streets.
