§ 36.01 SHERIFF LAW ENFORCEMENT PENSION.

   (A)   Employees of the Laborer’s Union in the Sheriff’s Department who work as Telecommunicators and Corrections Officers are hereby granted permission to participate in the Sheriff Law Enforcement Pension (SLEP), provided that certain criteria are met.

   (B)   The criteria are:

      (1)   The employee is a deputy sheriff;

      (2)   The employee works fulltime; and

      (3)   The employee possesses powers of arrest.
