§ 35.03  HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS.
   (A)   The county shall enforce handicapped accessibility standards that comply with and/or in accordance with the 504 handicapped accessibility assessment as adopted by the United States Department of Justice.
   (B)   The county hereby adopts by reference, the rules and regulations regarding handicapped accessibility issued by the United States Department of Justice.
   (C)   The county will notify the public and other interested parties that county meetings will be held in accessible locations and that assistance will be provided, upon request, to interested participants with handicaps.
   (D)   Complaints will be accepted, noted, and discussed at subsequent County Board meetings.
   (E)   All future construction and renovation work involving public facilities will be designed to accommodate the handicapped.
   (F)   Transportation, facilities to communicate with hearing-impaired persons, and other required measures needed by handicapped individuals will be available to those individuals interested in participating in community activities provided enough advance notice is given to local officials.
