§ 10.18  OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF GOVERNMENT.
   (A)   The county hereby adopts English as its official language of government.
   (B)   Records, reports, voting, proceedings, and publications of county government shall be printed in English, while tourism is exempted.
   (C)   When necessary to communicate to a significant segment of county residents for whom English is a second language for health, justice, safety, and welfare purposes, the operating department may petition the County Manager for a language exemption when demonstrated by the requesting department, subject to approval by the Board.
