At a minimum, the Health Authority shall inspect each food establishment within the jurisdiction of the Macon County Health Department as determined in 77 IL Adm. Code 615.310. Temporary food establishments may or may not be inspected as determined by the Health Authority. All categories and types of food establishments shall be inspected as many times as the Health Authority deems necessary to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The Health Authority shall not perform routine inspections of those food establishments operated by the State of Illinois. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the Health Authority from conducting investigations or inspections of a special or emergency nature or routine inspections at the request of Illinois Department of Public Health.
