Unless stated otherwise in this chapter, all construction of public improvements shall be performed in accordance with the latest revised edition of the State Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (SSRB) adopted by the State Department of Transportation (IDOT), the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois, Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Manual (BLR), Manual On Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), American National Standard for Roadway Lighting, and the National Electrical Code. If an engineering design or construction situation arises not covered by the above cited standard specifications or in the following sections, the direction provided by the County Engineer or county representative shall be followed.
