The recommendations of approval of a preliminary or final plat cannot be made by the Committee unless the proposed plat or subdivision bears the approval of the Township Commissioner of Highways of the township in which the proposed plat or subdivision is situated. If the proposed subdivision is situated partly in more than one township, the Township Commissioner of Highways of each township shall specifically state his or her approval of the system of streets and alleys in the proposed plat or subdivision. Maintenance and inclusion of the streets and alleys into the township road system shall be accepted only by a separate resolution set forth by the Township Commissioner of Highways after construction is completed in accordance with all requirements of this chapter.
