(A) Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined not to exceed $500 for each offense and every day that the violation continues may be deemed to be a separate offense.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, alter, repair, remove, demolish, install, or operate electrical equipment regulated by the Electrical Code or this chapter or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in conflict with or in violation of any of the provisions thereof.
(1) (a) It shall be unlawful to continue work after a stop order has been issued, served, or posted under those provisions.
(b) Any person, firm, or corporation violating or found to be in violation of any of the provisions shall upon conviction thereof be fined no less than $50 nor more than $500 for each offense, and each day upon which a violation occurs or is allowed to continue, or a condition is not brought into compliance after notice, shall be viewed and may be prosecuted as a separate and distinct offense.
(2) Upon determination by the Control Authority that a contractor has failed to construct, modify or repair a system in compliance with this Electrical Code, the Control Authority shall notify the contractor and shall give notice that corrections shall be made within 30 days.
(a) If corrections are not made, the Control Authority shall bring the case to the County Electrical Commission for possible action.
(b) Decisions by the County Electrical Commission may be appealed to the County Board, whose decision shall be final.
