§ 150.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   COMMISSION. The County Electrical Commission as established by this chapter.
   CONTROL AUTHORITY. The County Planning and Zoning Department, the designated building inspector, the designated electrical inspector, or any other designee as may be required for the proper administration of this chapter.
   ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR. Any corporation, partnership, or other person engaged in the business of installing, altering, or servicing of electrical equipment as herein defined.
   ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. Conductors and other equipment installed for the utilization of electricity for lights, heat, or power but does not include radio apparatus or equipment for wireless reception of sound and signals, or apparatus, conductors, or other equipment installed for or by public utilities, including common carriers which are under the jurisdiction of the State Commerce Commission for use in their operation as public utilities.
   ELECTRICIAN. Any individual who installs, services, or alters electrical equipment as herein defined, or who supervises same.
