Any person, firm, or corporation, or agent, employee, or contractor thereof, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with, or who resists enforcement of any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be subject to a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both, for each offense. Each week a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
