505.18 VICIOUS DOGS.
   (a)   No person shall own or harbor any dog for the purpose of dog fighting, or train, torment, badger, bait or use any dog for the purpose of dog fighting or for the purpose of causing or encouraging such dog to unprovoked attacks upon human beings or domestic animals.
   (b)   No person shall own or harbor a dog which is or likely to be a vicious dog as defined in Ohio R.C. 955.11.
   (c)   A determination that any part of this section is invalid shall not invalidate or impair the force or effect of any other part thereof, except to the extent that such other part is wholly dependent for its operation upon the part declared invalid.
   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree, and a misdemeanor of the third degree for subsequent offenses.
