505.14 FENCING OF LIVESTOCK.
   (a)   Livestock includes horses, ponies, sheep, goats, cattle, pigs or other animals which can cause injury to persons or damage to property if not confined, but does not include household pets.
   (b)   Any person who keeps or harbors livestock upon his property shall confine such livestock to his property at all times by a fence, barn, or other enclosure strong enough and high enough to prevent the escape of such livestock except when such keeper or harborer of livestock is in complete and absolute physical control of such livestock or when such livestock is restrained by attachment to a chain or other similar device strong enough to prevent the escape of the livestock under any circumstances.
   (c)   No livestock shall be permitted to escape from the property of the keeper or harborer thereof.

   (d)   Any person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for the first violation.
      (1)   In the event of a second or subsequent violation, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
      (2)   In the event that a violation of this section continues for more than one day, a separate offense shall be deemed to have been committed for each day.
