161.13 PAID HOLIDAY LEAVE.
(a) Official Holidays.
(1) The following days are hereby designated as official holidays to be observed:

(2) When any of the holidays named above fall on Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed; if the holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be observed.

(b) Application of Holiday Leave. The above official holidays shall be paid holidays for all. Those on duty in departments where the service requires some employees be on duty at all times shall be given comparable time off thereafter. Official holidays occurring during an employee's vacation period may be added to his vacation period or to his vacation credits. If a holiday occurs during a period that the employee is on sick leave, no sick leave time will be charged for that day. Employees must be eligible for compensation for the regular working day preceding and following a holiday in order to qualify for holiday pay.
(c) Additional Holiday Pay. Full-time nonexempt employees called out for emergency work on a paid holiday will be paid straight time pay for all hours worked, in addition to their holiday pay.
