155.03 DUTIES.

   (a)    The Animal Warden shall collect and impound all dogs running at large, whether licensed or unlicensed; regulate, restrain and prevent the running at large within the City of cattle, horses, swine, sheep, goats, geese, chickens, fowl and other domestic animals, as well as dogs, excepting cats; and impound and hold all such animals and fowl; and on notice to the owners, authorize the sale of such animals and fowl for the failure of owners to pay the penalties imposed by any ordinance, including impoundment charges, of the City, and the cost and expenses of the proceedings wherein permitting such animals and/or fowl to run at large is a violation of law.

   (b)    The Animal Warden shall perform such other duties as are established by law. (Res. 15-1977. Passed 5-12-77.)
