151.05 PROTECTION OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS.

   (a)   The Police Chief is empowered to authorize the Police Department to provide police protection to any county, municipal corporation or township of this state or to government entity of an adjoining state without contract where appropriate.

   (b)   It is specially intended that all of the rights, privilege, indemnifications of applicable Ohio law including, but not limited to, the provisions of Ohio Chapter 2744 shall be extended to officers of the City Police Department who take any action under the provisions of this section.
