151.04 INJURY LEAVE.

   Any regular full-time employee of the Police Department injured or incapacitated in the actual discharge of duty who is compelled to be absent from duty as a result of such injury, shall, upon recommendation of a certified physician and Council, receive full pay for such time as may be deemed equitable by Council. However, deduction may be made to the extent of the sums received by the employee from and such compensation fund to which the state, county or City contributes. This section shall be superseded by any collective bargaining provision addressing the leave. (Ord. 79-1997. Passed 12-11-97.)
