123.02 READING OF LEGISLATION.

   (a)    All ordinances and resolutions brought before Council for consideration shall be read in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.09 of the Charter.

   (b)   All legislation to be considered going forward as of the approval date of this ordinance including and all ordinances and/or resolutions presented to the Council of the City of Macedonia shall include:

      (1)   The name of the individual originating such legislation (Originator/Author).

      (2)   The name of a Councilor sponsoring such legislation (Council/Sponsor).

   Legislation which cannot be traced to an originator and not sponsored by a Council Member will not be considered by Council and the Clerk of Council will not allow such items to be brought before Council for consideration.

   (c)    Where the Charter is silent, State law shall prevail.
