Section 6.06 Deputy Director of Finance.

Council may by ordinance provide for the creation of the position of Deputy Director of Finance. The Deputy Director of Finance shall be qualified to perform all of the duties of the Director of Finance and shall advise, counsel and assist the Director of Finance in the performance of all or any duties of the Director of Finance in this Charter and shall serve as the Director of Finance in the event of absence or illness of the Director of Finance.

The Deputy Director of Finance shall be paid such compensation and serve for such period as determined by Council.
