797.06 LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY ESTABLISHED.

   The City Council shall be the local licensing authority of the City for the licensing of cultivators, processors and dispensaries, pursuant to this chapter, unless the City Council designates other persons to serve as the local licensing authority. The local licensing authority shall possess all powers given to local licensing authorities by the provisions of the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program Code and related rules and regulations. Any decision made by the local licensing authority to grant or deny a license, to revoke or suspend a license, or to renew or not renew a license shall be a final decision and may be appealed to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas pursuant to O.R.C. 2506.
