1381.04 SUPPORT STRUCTURES.
(a) Only metal support, galvanized construction, or equal thereto, shall be allowed.
(b) Only a concrete base or caissons, depending on soil conditions, shall be employed in line with grade.
(c) The structure shall be designed to withstand wind force of up to eighty-five miles per hour in a manner conforming with good engineering practices and procedures. A certificate shall be furnished to the Building Commissioner, signed by a licensed and qualified engineer, that the installation is in conformity to the above limitations.
(d) Any driving motor shall be encased in protective guards.
(e) All underground electrical wiring must be encased in rigid conduit at a safe depth. Any overhead wiring must also meet the approval of the Electrical Inspector.
(f) The earth station must be bonded to an eight foot grounding rod.
(g) Plans must meet all engineering practices and procedures.
