1361.13 HOMEOWNER'S EXEMPTIONS.
   (a)    The provisions of the chapter shall not apply to a homeowner desiring to perform work on his own premises so long as such work is actually performed by the homeowner or members of his immediate family and the work is performed without compensation and on premises in which the homeowner is in actual residence.
   (b)    Any work performed by the homeowner shall be subject to all of the provisions of the Building Code of the City, and to all inspections required under the codes.
