1321.05 ESCROW OF FUNDS; RESIDENTIAL (NEW ADDITIONS/ALTERATIONS AND COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION).

   Upon application for a building permit to construct a new home, the applicant shall place in escrow with the City, the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00) for the purpose of providing moneys for building re-inspections, and the sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) for engineering topographical and final grade inspections and re-inspections. A permit issued for an addition or alteration, the deposit shall be one hundred twenty ($120.00). Commercial escrow funds will be determined by the Building Department at the time of submittal.

   Each re-inspection by the Building Department shall be $50.00 and shall be deducted from the escrow moneys.

   After issuance of the occupancy permit, any escrowed moneys remaining shall be returned to the applicant upon request.
