1305.01 ADOPTION.

(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by the Municipality, the latest edition of the National Electric Code, for the purpose of prescribing basic provision considered necessary for the safety of persons and of buildings and their contents from hazards arising from the use of electricity for lighting, heat, power, radio, signaling and for other purposes, and as recommended by the National Fire Protection Association. All electrical equipment and the installation thereof shall conform to the provisions of the latest edition of the National Electric Code.

(b) The latest edition of the National Electric Code is hereby incorporated fully herein as if set forth in its entirety in this Chapter.
