553.04 SPEED REGULATIONS.
   (a)   No railroad train shall pass over or through an unprotected grade crossing at a street or highway within the municipal limits of the City at a speed in excess of twenty-five miles per hour.
   (b)   A grade crossing is a location on a public street or highway whereat railroad tracks cross a public street or highway at the same or approximately the same elevation.
   (c)   An unprotected grade crossing is a grade crossing whereat there have not been installed electric flashing lights, bells, and gates pursuant to order or authority of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, which will signal to persons using such street or highway visible and audibly the approach of railroad trains and which gates will lower, barring vehicles from entering such crossing.
   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
