541.13 DEFACING BOOKS AND MAGAZINES IN LIBRARIES.

(a) No person shall intentionally deface, obliterate, tear or destroy, in whole or in part, a book, magazine or periodical on file in any public library or reading room, or cut therefrom any article or advertisement.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
