541.09 UNLAWFUL REPOSSESSION OF INSTALLMENT PROPERTY.
   (a)   No person, being the vendor of personal property to be paid for in whole or in part in installments or being the lessor, renter, hirer or deliverer of such property to another on condition that it shall belong to the person purchasing, leasing, renting, hiring or receiving it whenever the amounts paid shall aggregate either a certain sum or the value of such property, the title thereof to remain in the vendor, lessor, renter, hirer or deliverer until such sum or the value of such property or part thereof has been paid, shall violate any provisions of law in taking possession or repossession of such property.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
