A. The board is charged with the responsibility for recommending plans, procedures and regulations to the village board concerning all air, water and land environmental issues, including, but not limited to, garbage, recycling, airborne emission and discharge of other pollutants into the air, water or on private or public property.
B. The committee shall also review village monitoring activities with regard to particulate pollution, noise pollution and blasting at the quarry site, and to make recommendations to the village board. (1965 Code § 2-15-2)
