All or any members of the village ESDA may be designated by the director of the state EMA as members of a mobile support team created as provided in the act. Any member of a mobile support team who is a village employee, while serving within or without the village in the capacity of a mobile support team member, shall have the powers, duties, rights, and immunities and receive the compensation incidental to their employment.
