The ICC 2006 international property maintenance code is hereby adopted, as amended, as the maintenance standard for all existing structures within the village, except where superseded by a stricter maintenance standard adopted by the village. The requirements of the code shall not allow a structure to be maintained at less than the standard required by the construction codes for the construction of the structure and/or its systems.
