A. Permit Required; Contractor Qualifications: No building shall be moved from one location to another within the village, or from a location outside the village to within the village, or from a location within the village to a location outside the village without a permit first being obtained to do so from the building department. Permits shall be issued only to firms or persons who are properly licensed to engage in the occupation of building moving in the village. (1965 Code § 7-2-54)
B. Permit Fees: The permit fee to move a building shall be as follows:
Single- or two-family dwelling | $ 500.00 |
Multiple-family dwelling | 800.00 |
Commercial building | 1,000.00 |
Industrial building | 1,500.00 |
Any smaller building | 50.00 |
