A. Permit Required; Contractor Qualifications: No heating, ventilating, air conditioning or exhaust system installation or alteration shall be made without a permit first being obtained from the building department. Permits shall be issued only to such firms or persons who are properly licensed to engage in the occupation of heating, ventilation air conditioning or exhaust system contractor in the village. If application for permit is made by a general contractor in connection with a general building permit, evidence of proper licensing must be furnished to the building department as hereinbefore stated. B. Permit Fees: The fees to be charged for heating, ventilating, air conditioning or exhaust system installation shall be as follows:

C. Inspections: The building director or his agent shall inspect all heating, ventilating, air conditioning and exhaust systems before they are concealed. Additional inspections shall be made as deemed necessary by the building director. (1965 Code § 7-2-26)
