A. Permit Required; Contractor Qualifications: No electrical installation or alteration shall be made without a permit first being obtained from the building department. Permits shall be issued only to such firms or persons who are properly licensed to engage in the occupation of electrical contractor in the village. If application for permit is made by a general contractor in connection with a general building permit, evidence of proper licensing must be furnished to the building department as hereinbefore stated. B. Permit Fees: The fees to be charged for electrical installations shall be as follows:

Note: Each panel on the premises is counted as a separate item in apartment dwellings and industrial and commercial buildings.

C. Inspections: The building director or his agent shall inspect all wiring systems before they are concealed. Additional inspections shall be made as deemed necessary by the building director. (1965 Code § 7-2-22)
