9-6A-1: COMMERCIAL VEHICLE PARKING IN ALL ZONING DISTRICTS:
   A.   Overnight Parking: No commercial vehicle or portion thereof with a license above a B plate or licensed for a gross weight, including vehicle and cargo, of eight thousand one (8,001) pounds or more may be parked overnight on any street of the village. "Commercial vehicles", excluding transport vehicles, as defined in section 9-3-2 of this title that are licensed below a B plate or for a gross weight of vehicle and cargo of eight thousand (8,000) pounds or less are permitted to park overnight on any street of the village, provided such vehicle has a valid village vehicle sticker.
   B.   Parking Prohibited In Certain Areas: No commercial vehicle with a license above a B plate or licensed for a gross weight, including vehicle and cargo, of eight thousand one (8,001) pounds or more shall be parked at any time on any parkway or public way in the village; nor shall any such vehicle be parked on the front setback area between the plane of the front of the building and the front lot line.
   C.   Vehicles Used As Warehouses Or Storage Bins: No commercial or recreational vehicle shall be used for warehouses, storage bins or loading bins within the village.
   D.   Parking On Private Property: No commercial vehicle shall be parked or stored on private property unless:
      1.   Such parking or storage is conducted on land improved with concrete or asphalt as regulated by the village zoning regulations and otherwise approved by the village as a commercial parking lot, truck terminal or accessory parking lot.
      2.   Such parking is conducted as part of a village licensed truck terminal or commercial parking lot, or the parking of the vehicle in question is accessory to and on site at a licensed commercial or industrial use.
   E.   Parking On Unimproved Or Unoccupied Land; Penalties:
      1.   Parking or storage on unimproved or unoccupied land, or in accessory parking lots while not accessory to the lawful primary industrial or commercial occupant, or while such enterprise is closed, is expressly prohibited.
      2.   Vehicles in violation of subsection E1 of this section are subject to immediate immobilization as provided for in chapter 2, article A of this title. The fine for a violation of subsection E1 of this section shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for each twenty four (24) hour period in violation. The registered vehicle and/or property owner may be cited as responsible parties for this violation. Such violations may be appealed to the village code hearing officer, provided a bond in the amount of the total fine is filed with the village as enumerated in chapter 2, article A of this title.
