8-4-5: NUISANCES DECLARED:
It is hereby declared a nuisance for the owner of carrier pigeons to feed, house or train carrier pigeons in such a manner as to attract other birds to the training house or feeding areas. It is also declared a nuisance for the owner of carrier pigeons to feed, house, or train their pigeons in such a way that pigeons defecate upon another's property. Further, it shall be a positive duty of a carrier pigeon owner to remove or otherwise clean up the defecation of their pigeons or other birds attracted to the training, housing or feeding areas of their carrier pigeons. This obligation shall extend to the licensee's property and all public and private property where the owner consents to the entry of the licensee upon his property. (1965 Code § 9-7-96)
