6-4-11: PENALTIES:
A violation of this chapter may be prosecuted by code hearing adjudication, civil litigation or criminal process. Each day in violation of this chapter shall constitute a separate offense. Civil fines shall be no more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) per day. Criminal violations shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by a minimum fine of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) and not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), and/or incarceration of not more than sixty (60) days, per offense. The village shall not be limited by this section in seeking any and all remedies as provided for by state statutes. (1965 Code § 8-2-11)
