6-4-1: CODES ADOPTED:
   A.   Adoption Of Codes: For the purposes of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, the village hereby adopts the following model codes:
      1.   NFPA life safety code 101 (2000 edition).
      2.   BOCA fire prevention code (1999 edition).
      3.   NFPA fire prevention code (2000 edition).
      4.   NFPA 33, standard for spray application using flammable or combustible materials (2000 edition).
      5.   NFPA 88B, standard for repair garages (2000 edition).
   B.   Conflicts; Stricter Standards Prevail: Wherein any one of the above codes conflicts with the other or with another adopted code, the stricter standard shall apply. (1965 Code § 8-2-1)
   C.   Copies On File: One copy of each of the codes adopted in subsection A of this section is on file in the village offices for public use and inspection. (2009 Code)
