A. A mutual fire aid program conforming to the provisions of section 6-2-3 of this chapter has been agreed upon by the respective fire chiefs of the departments and districts of: Argonne, Bolingbrook, Brookfield, Clarendon Heights, Clarendon Hills, Downers Grove, Downers Grove Estates, Forest View, Hinsdale, La Grange, La Grange Park, Lemont, Lyons, McCook, Pleasantview fire district, Riverside, Tri-State fire protection district, Western Springs, Westmont, and Romeoville in either Cook or DuPage County, and has been submitted to the authorities of the village. This mutual fire aid program is subject to change or abrogation by action of the president, by and with the advice and consent of the board of trustees, and the fire chief of the village, pursuant to section 6-2-3 of this chapter.
B. Unless and until so changed or abrogated, the mutual fire aid program is ratified as a binding agreement between the village and all other municipalities who shall have adopted said program and shall have assumed the obligations thereby imposed upon them. (1965 Code § 8-4-4)
