(A) Member duties and responsibilities are:
(1) Attend regularly scheduled business and training meetings;
(2) Report to station when notified of fire or emergency run;
(3) Participate in fundraisers voted upon by the Department;
(4) Be capable of operating each piece of firefighting equipment in an efficient and safe manner; and
(5) Conduct himself or herself in a manner that does not discredit either himself or herself or the Department. Members should pay special attention to the duties in this division (A)(5) during meetings, fundraisers and at fire and emergency scenes.
(B) Members will be required to complete the state mandated training programs by June 1 of each year. Failure to complete said training will move the member to inactive status until training is completed.
(C) Members will be required to attend at least 20% of regularly scheduled meetings and respond to at least 20% of all fire and emergency calls. Regular work schedules, illness and death in the immediate family would be the only excusable absences. Failure to participate in these activities at the required percentage will automatically move the member to the inactive status effective November 15. Members on inactive status are not eligible for the clothing and travel allowance.
(H) Members will use the Department, its equipment and supplies for Department-related functions only and not for personal activities.
