§ 33.16 NAME, CREATION OF PARK AND RECREATION BOARD, APPOINTMENT OF BOARD MEMBERS.
   (A)   The Park and Recreation Board hereby created shall be known as the Town Park and Recreation Board, and shall consist of four members, to be appointed by the Town Council. The members shall be appointed on the basis of their interest in and knowledge of parks and recreation, but no more than two members may be affiliated with the same political party.
   (B)   Initial appointments to the Board are as follows:
      (1)   One member for a term of one year;
      (2)   One member for a term of two years;
      (3)   One member for a term of three years; and
      (4)   One member for a term of four years.
   (C)   As a term expires, each new appointment is for a four-year term. All terms expire on the first Monday in January, but a if a vacancy occurs on the Board, a person shall be appointed to serve for the remainder of the unexpired term.
