§ 92.20 CERTIFIED STATEMENT; LIEN.
   The Clerk-Treasurer shall, following the removal of grass, weeds and similar vegetation by the Water Department of the town, or its contractors, prepare a certified statement of the actual costs incurred by the town in the cutting and removal of the grass, weeds and similar vegetation, in order to abate the violation, including administrative costs and removal costs. The certified statement shall be delivered to the real property owner by certified mail, return receipt requested, at his or her last known address. If the real property owner fails to pay the certified amount within ten days after receiving the certified statement, the Clerk-Treasurer shall certify to the County Auditor the amount of the original certified statement plus any additional administrative costs incurred in the certification process. The County Auditor shall place the total amount certified on the tax duplicate for the property affected and the total amount, including accrued interest, shall be collected as delinquent taxes are collected and shall be disbursed to the General Fund of the town.
