§ 37.082 HOLIDAYS.

   The town shall observe the following holidays:

   (A)   Paid holidays.

      (1)   The following are paid holidays: 

         (a)   New Year’s Day;

         (b)   Martin Luther King Day;

         (c)   President’s Day;

         (d)   Good Friday;

         (e)   Memorial Day;

         (f)   Independence Day;

         (g)   Labor Day;

         (h)   Columbus Day;

         (i)   Veteran’s Day;

         (j)   Thanksgiving Day; and

         (k)   Christmas Day.

      (2)   All employees covered by this policy shall receive pay based on hours of their average work day up to eight hours for each of the holidays listed above.

      (3)   Holiday must fall on each employee’s regularly scheduled work day.

      (4)   Part-time park employees are not eligible for paid holidays.

   (B)   Unpaid holidays.

      (1)   The following are unpaid holidays: 

         (a)   Primary Election Day;

         (b)   General Election Day;

         (c)   Day after Thanksgiving;

         (d)   Christmas Eve; and

         (e)   New Year’s Eve.

      (2)   The town hall will be closed these days but are unpaid holidays.
