§ 150.03 ADOPTION OF KENTUCKY STANDARDS OF SAFETY; ENFORCEMENT; PERMITS; APPEALS.
   (A)   Adoption. The Kentucky Standards of Safety (Fire Prevention Code) as promulgated in 815 KAR 10:060 (and any further amendments thereto) by the Commissioner of the Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction on the advice and recommendation of the State Fire Marshal, is hereby adopted in full by the City of Lyndon, Jefferson County, of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Copies of the code book are available through the Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction, 1047 U.S. 127 South, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
   (B)   Designated enforcement officer. The Fire Chief of the Lyndon Fire Protection District, or the said Fire Chief’s designated representative is the local enforcement agent for the Standards of Safety as adopted by the city.
   (C)   Permits, inspections and fees. The requirements for permits, inspections and fees shall be as provided for pursuant to 815 KAR 10:060, Kentucky Standards of Safety and stipulated in the schedule attached to the ordinance codified herein. Failure to pay fees as provided shall be considered a violation in itself as allowed under the Standards of Safety. Municipal, state and federal government entities shall be exempt for all fees. Inspections shall be conducted at least annually or as often as is practicable. An inspection permit will be issued upon compliance. Inspection permits shall not be transferable and shall be valid for a period of time set forth on the permit. The business occupying a space shall be responsible for complying with the ordinance codified herein and regulations and fees established herein.
   (D)   Appeal process. All final decisions of the fire code official having jurisdiction, shall be appealable to Jefferson County Court within 30 days thereafter.
