There is hereby established in and for the City a Commission on Aging, consisting of nine members. Permanent nonvoting members shall be the Mayor and the Vice-Mayor. The remaining seven and voting members of the Commission shall be residents of the City who are sixty years of age or older. All such members shall be appointed by the Mayor, four of whom shall serve for a term of two years each, and three of whom shall serve for a term of one year each. All subsequent appointments to such Commission shall be for a two-year period.
