1351.09 BUILDING, DEMOLITION, HOUSE MOVING, SIGN AND DRIVEWAY PERMIT FEES.
     The Building Commissioner or agent shall issue the permit required and collect the fee, therefore. As used in this section, the floor space of a building or other structure means the floor space of each floor, including basements, attached garages, breezeways and covered porches, as determined by dimensions from exterior faces of exterior walls. The fees to be charged shall be based upon the following:
 
For a General Contractor's registration, for a maximum of one year, expiring December 31st of the year. The licensee must fill out the registration application, complete current year bond form with seal and attached power of attorney, certificate of insurance with required limits and listing the City of Lyndhurst as additional insured, if applicable, provide license from the Ohio Construction Industry Examination Board (OCIEB) or Ohio State Dept of Health for those trades requiring it.

(a)
Permits which are to be issued for Commercial Occupancies, governed by the OBC, shall pay an additional assessment of 3% in accordance with the Board of Building Standards
(b)
Permits which are to be issued for Residential Occupancies, one, two and three family dwellings governed by the RCO, shall pay an additional assessment of 1% in accordance with the Board of Building Standards.
(c)
The Building Commissioner shall issue the permit required by the OBC and RCO, fix and collect and give receipts for the same according to the following schedule.
