The Vice Mayor shall appoint a Finance Committee, a Legislative Committee, a Safety Committee, a Roads and Utilities Committee, a Service and Sewer Committee, a Public Lands and Buildings Committee and such other standing or temporary committees as he or she may deem proper, and shall designate the Chairperson of each such Committee. The Presiding Officer of Council may, when circumstances require, appoint a temporary special administrative committee which may include members of Council.
