(a) A document, consisting of text, maps and charts, entitled "City of Lyndhurst Master Plan" and dated 1996, is hereby adopted as the Master Plan of the City of Lyndhurst. Copies of the Master Plan, as amended from time to time by Council, may be obtained, at cost, from the Clerk of Council. (Ord. 96-39. Passed 9-16-96.)
(b) In order to assure that the Master Plan shall at all times be current with the needs of the City, and shall represent the then current best thinking and planning of the Council and the Planning Commission and the boards, commissions and departments of the City, in light of changing conditions, the Planning Commission shall continue to periodically review the Master Plan and recommend to Council any extensions, changes or additions to the Plan which the Commission considers necessary.
(c) All matters affecting the physical development of the City shall continue to be submitted to the Planning Commission in compliance with City laws, and where provided for in this Planning and Zoning Code, for a report and/or recommendation to Council as to conformity with the Master Plan. Such report and/or recommendation shall be made to Council as provided for in this Planning and Zoning Code.
